Starting now, WEAT members or their dependents in higher education may apply for this year’s scholarship. WEAT CTS Scholarship Application Deadline is at 5 PM on Friday, August 4th, 2023.
The Central Texas Section of WEAT offers a scholarship to those pursuing an education and subsequent career that will further the fundamental knowledge of the water environment, its basic qualities, and the physical laws governing its interaction with other aspects of the environment and with the aesthetic, economic, and biological needs of the earth’s inhabitants as well as advancing the knowledge and technology in the design, construction, operation, and management of water quality control systems and facilities.
Are you or your dependent(s) planning to enroll in a two-year or four-year college or university this fall? If so, you and/or your dependent(s) may be eligible for scholarship assistance from the Water Environment Association of Texas Central Texas Section (WEAT CTS) Scholarship!
WEAT CTS is awarding up to $1000 per student recipient, and runner-up recipients may be awarded up to $500. WEAT is committed to enhancing the water environment of Texas through educational investment, workforce development, and supporting our members through WEAT.
All applications with unofficial transcripts must be submitted by 5 PM on Friday, August 4, 2023.

The Central Texas Section serves members located in the following counties of Texas: Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Gillespie, Hays, Lampasas, Llano, Travis, and Williamson. Students attending higher education in the above counties may be eligible for sponsorship of first-
