As the private foundation for Doyon, Limited, Doyon Foundation supports the educational and cultural needs of Doyon’s shareholders and their children. We offer four different types of scholarships to meet the needs of our diverse students: Competitive scholarships, part-time and full-time awards, high school awards and career & technical awards. In 2024, we awarded $2 million to 469 students.

Are you working on a degree? We have three opportunities to fit your funding needs. Part-time, Full-time and competitive awards are awarded 3 times a year and deadlines are as follows:
May 15: For fall semester funding
November 15: For spring semester funding
March 15: For summer semester funding

Eligibility
To be eligible for a Doyon Foundation scholarship, applicants must:
- Be enrolled to Doyon, Limited or be the child of an original enrollee. If the applicant is not an original enrollee, but is the child of an original shareholder, a certified (notarized) copy of an original birth certificate is required for verification. Gifted or inherited shares do not qualify an individual for scholarship eligibility.
- Be accepted to an accredited college, university, technical or vocational school.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 for undergraduates, 3.0 for graduates or masters, and 3.25 for specialists or doctorates.
- Be enrolled in 12 or more credits (undergraduates), or 9 or more credits (graduates) to be considered full-time students.
- Be enrolled in 3 to 11 credits (undergraduates), or 2 to 8 credits (graduates) to be considered part-time students.

Scholarship Life-time Limits
Students are eligible to receive up to the following total award amounts during their academic career:
- Undergraduate: $25,000
- Master’s: $36,000
- Doctorate: $49,000
- Non-Degree-Seeking: $25,000
