The Florida Transportation Builders' Association (FTBA) Scholarships are available to any Florida resident that is a graduating high school senior in 2026 whose parent, parents or legal guardian is a member or is employed by a firm who is a member of the Florida Transportation Builders’ Association.

‍Four-year Scholarship

Four-year scholarships are granted in varying amounts, annually for a period up to four (4) consecutive years, so long as the applicant is making satisfactory progress in his or her field of study. Verification of satisfactory progress is required from the school annually. Curriculum requirements are only that you attend an accredited college or university. Scholarship applications will be evaluated on(a) your application (b) school transcript and ACT or SAT scores, and (c)letters of recommendation.

‍Trade Scholarship

Trade Scholarships are granted in varying amounts and time periods at the discretion of the FTBA Scholarship Committee.  Curriculum requirements are that you enroll in a program directly related to the road construction industry at a technical or vocational school. Scholarship applications will be evaluated on (a) your application (b)high school transcript or GED Certificate, and (c) letters of recommendation.

‍All Applicants: There are no geographic limitations on your school of choice, but you must be a Florida resident to apply. Applications must be submitted online, in English. All documentation must be attached at the time of the application. Incomplete applications or those submitted after the application deadline will not be considered. Deadline for submission is March 6, 2026.

The FTBA scholarships are available to any Florida resident that is a graduating high school senior from a Florida high school in 2026 whose parent, or legal guardian is a member or is employed by a firm who is a member of the Florida Transportation Builders’ Association.

Please note, applications must be submitted in the English language. The application must include two letters of recommendation from someone other than a family member. You must also submit a copy of your high school transcript with the online application and your guidance counselor must sign the transcripts. Your transcript does not have to be a certified copy since it is being submitted electronically, but it must be signed. All items must be submitted via the document upload section at the time this form is completed. Once your application has been submitted you will see a confirmation page. Scholastic Essay (300 to 500 words):
