Since its inception, PGA REACH New England has awarded over $1,000,000 in college scholarships to the children, grandchildren and step-children of PGA Professionals, as well as junior golfers in New England.
Under the direction of PGA REACH New England and its Scholarship Committee, we are aiming to continue growing the number of scholarships available, as well as the amount of funding available each year.

Scholarship Application Procedures & Checklist
To be considered for a PGA REACH New England Scholarship, the appropriate application must be completed in its entirety. The information supplied must be accurate and will be kept confidential by the foundation and various Committees reviewing applicant information.
This scholarship checklist can be used as a means to better prepare for the application process. The Scholarship committee encourages all applicants to thoroughly review the eligibility requirements of each individual scholarship.
Generally, each PGA REACH New England scholarship will require a combination of the following:
- Essay
- Essay of 500 words or less on, Why should the applicant receive this scholarship?
- Transcript
- Transcripts should be from the prior year Fall Semester school year
- Acceptance Letter
- Include a copy of your College / University acceptance letter
- Extracurricular and Volunteer Activities
- Include and explain any community activities or volunteer work in which you have participated or are currently involved in
- Letters of Recommendation
- This can be from a Golf Professional, Employer, High School Coach, Teacher at your school, or anyone other than a family member who can tell us why you are especially deserving of this award.
- Professional Headshot
- Provide a headshot photograph or professional picture of yourself
