The society currently provides the Student Cash Grant 2024. Although these grants are available each year, either or both may, or may not, be awarded based on the committee's receipt and evaluation of candidate applications. Only engineering technology students qualify, not those seeking an engineering degree.
THE STUDENT CASH GRANT 2024
The Scholarship committee is excited to announce that ASCET is accepting applications for the new ASCET Student Cash Grant for 2022. Please find the application below.
CRITERIA
To apply you need to have the following qualifications:
- Be either a student, certified, regular, or registered member of ASCET OR,
- Be a High School senior in the last five months of the academic year who will be enrolled in an Engineering Technology curriculum no later than six (6) months following selection of the award.
- By achieving passing grades in their present curriculum.
- Application Deadline will be January 30 of each year so all awards can be made by April 30 of each of the same year.
The Grant moving forward is worth a total of $1,200.00 for two recipients.
APPLICATION SUBMISSIONS
Completed applications should be directed to the National ASCET Office. Applications should be postmarked by January 30th of each year so all awards can be made by April 30th. All received applications will be reviewed for completeness and ranked by qualifications by the financial aid committee. Award recommendations will be presented to the Executive Committee.
