NYSSPA Scholarships

NYSSPA annually awards multiple scholarships to PA and PA Student members. In addition to academic funds, scholarship recipients receive complimentary registration to the annual CME Conference where they will be recognized at the Clara Vanderbilt Gala.

• Kenneth Whitney PA Memorial Scholarship (1)

PA Student Scholarships

Each year, NYSSPA awards three (3) scholarships to PA Students in the amount of $1,500 each.

In alignment with NYSSPA’s mission to empower PA students to become successful PAs, PA leaders and PA advocates, recipients will also be given mentorship from a current NYSSPA Board Member or Committee Chair.

PA Student Scholarship Applicant Criteria:

• Current NYSSPA PA Student Member
• Currently attending an ARC-PA accredited PA Program in the state of New York
• Currently at the graduate level or post-bachelor's degree phase of PA education.
• Has not received a NYSSPA scholarship before
• Is not a NYSSPA Board Member or Committee Chair

Kenneth Whitney PA Memorial Scholarship

The annual Kenneth Whitney PA Memorial Scholarship for a PA or PA student to offset expenses related to registration and travel to train or further your education in advanced robotics. One (1) recipient receives a $1,500 scholarship.

Kenneth Whiney PA Memorial Scholarship Applicant Criteria:

• Current NYSSPA Fellow, Affiliate, or PA Student Member
• Has not received a NYSSPA scholarship before
• Is not a NYSSPA Board Member or Committee Chair
• The funds must be used to offset expenses related to registration and travel to train or further your PA education in beginner or advanced robotics.
