Navy Wives Clubs of America annually awards 9 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to $1500. Each grant is given with the knowledge that no repayment is expected. To be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant must be the child, grandchild, great-grandchild, or spouse of an enlisted (E1-E9) member of the Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard, active duty, retired, widow or widower.
The applicant must show a basis of need for financial assistance, have a scholastic standing of at least 2.5 grade point average (GPA). The applicant must be accepted for admission to an accredited school. Further information on the qualifications for each scholarship and the application can be found on the NWCA website.
The deadline for Scholarship applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2025, and sent to Cris Icenhower, NWCA National President. If you intend to apply for a scholarship request your transcript right away. Applications may be downloaded from the NWCA website www.navywivesclubsofamerica.org.

NWCA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS ELIGIBILITY:
Sons/daughters of ENLISTED (E1-E9) members of the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard on active duty, retired with pay, or deceased. Applicants must have a valid Dependent I.D. Card (United States Uniformed Services Identification & Privilege Card) . Applicants should show basis of need for financial assistance, have a scholastic standing of at least a 2.5 grade point average (GPA), and be a graduate of an accredited High School or it’s equivalent or will qualify for graduation prior to beginning eligibility for assistance.
Four initial awards will be given for freshmen students with continuation not to exceed three more years. Undergraduate students may apply for four upperclassmen awards and any vacancies that occur in the renewal grants. Special scholarships are given to two medical students, one student majoring in special education and four awards to children of NWCA members. A total of thirty-one (31) grants will be awarded annually.
