This region has become an economic powerhouse due to its metals industry, and that innovative spirit continues to this day. We support students pursuing full-time undergraduate degrees in engineering, math, metals, and technology, investing in motivated leaders who will power our regional economy of the future.

Award Amounts
Typical scholarships for college and university programs range from $10,000 to $15,000 per year.
Eligible Programs
Students must plan to enroll in, or be accepted to, a full-time, four-year undergraduate program within the fields of engineering, math, metals, or technology. Eligible programs include, but are not limited to, the following majors:

Candidate Qualifications
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be a current or prospective student pursuing a full-time, four-year degree program in an eligible program of study.
- Have completed no more than five years of undergraduate studies.
- Not be affiliated with the Perryman Company or Perryman Family Foundation through board service, current employment, or close relatives.
- Currently live in one of these eligible counties located in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Northern West Virginia, Northern Virginia, Western Maryland, or Chautauqua County, New York:

Preferred Qualifications
The following are preferred, but NOT required:
- Attend, or plan to attend, a college or university located in one of the eligible counties listed above.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Provide a high school diploma or similar credential, such as a GED or a federally approved Ability to Benefit Test.
