Naumovich Scholarship

The Naumovich Scholarship Fund will annually award scholarships to Missouri students who are graduating high school seniors or current college students. Preference will be given to students of Polish descent (student, parent, or grandparent born in Poland) if all eligibility criteria are met.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the applicant must:

• be a graduating high school senior or current college student.
• be a Missouri resident.
• plan to enroll full-time at an accredited, nonprofit, trade/technical school, two-year college, or four-year college or university in the United States.
• demonstrate unmet financial need. In general, unmet financial need will be defined as the difference between the cost of attendance and the sum of the family’s contribution and the student’s grant aid from other sources.

Selection

• Applicants will be evaluated based on:
• essays that articulate academic and career goals and what they have done to prepare themselves to achieve those goals.
• transcript that demonstrates past success and potential degree completion.
• extracurricular and community involvement, including work experience.
• financial need.

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please answer all questions that apply to you, even if they are not marked “required."

Notification

Application status will be changed from submitted to either offered or denied in June. Applicants can view their status by logging in to their Scholarship Central account. Funds will be sent to recipients’ schools in August.

Renewal

Recipients may reapply for award consideration for a maximum of four years of undergraduate funding provided they continue to make satisfactory progress toward a degree and continue to meet the eligibility criteria. Please note that because the award amounts are based on available funding and financial need that can change from year to year, the amount of this scholarship award may change if a recipient applies for renewal awards in years to come.

Eligibility, financial need, and award amount for this scholarship program will be determined by the St. Louis Community Foundation. 11. Enter your Student Aid Index that is on your FAFSA Submission Summary.
12. UPLOAD: Please upload next year's Financial Aid Award Letter from the college you will attend. This document will be required before an award can be determined and should include: college name, applicant name, loans, grants and scholarships offered.
