- Larimer County students who would benefit from art, writing, music, or visual arts training.
About Charmayne Gooch
The Charmayne Gooch Arts Scholarship stands as a heartfelt tribute to the memory of Charmayne Gooch. This award supports students who demonstrate potential and promise, even if they haven’t achieved the academic qualifications required for other scholarship opportunities.
Charmayne Gooch, a dedicated lover of the arts, obtained her bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Colorado in 1950. Throughout her lifetime, she explored a variety of career paths, including teaching, serving as a principal, and working as a property manager. Charmayne found solace and inspiration in her love for painting, leisurely walks in parks, fishing, golfing, and immersing herself in the great outdoors. A compassionate and kind-hearted nature characterizes her legacy.
In a final act of generosity, Charmayne established this scholarship in her trust, aiming to offer local students a chance to pursue their artistic aspirations and access educational opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
