The Center for Cyber Safety and Education is one of the leading providers of cybersecurity academic scholarships globally. We have awarded over 1,000 scholarships to students and emerging professionals since 2011 and remain committed to empowering the next generation of cyber professionals!
Our scholarships not only represent financial support to the recipients, but also an introduction to the Center for Cyber Safety and Education volunteer community and the ISC2 membership. We aim to be the professional home for cybersecurity professionals from the start of their career into retirement. You gain opportunities to meet cyber professionals, volunteer with the Center’s programs, gain membership to ISC2 through the One Million Certified in Cybersecurity program and many other benefits.
Our scholarships are very competitive, and we hope you will stay in touch with us, even if you do not receive a scholarship. We want to support your career journey!
Our 2026 scholarships open on January 15, 2026 and close at 11:59pm ET on March 15, 2026. Applicants will be notified in early May and awards distributed directly to colleges and universities in July. Our scholarships have a SINGLE APPLICATION.

ELIGIBILITY
Students are eligible to apply for academic scholarships if they meet the following criteria:
- Must be pursuing, or plan to pursue, a degree with a focus on cybersecurity, information assurance, or similar field.
- Must be pursuing one of the following degree types:
- two (2) year associate's degree
- four (4) year bachelor's degree
- Master’s degree
- Doctoral program (PhD)
- GPA must be at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- You may be a citizen of any country (US citizenship not required)
- May be attending on campus or online
- May be attending full-time or part-time
- May be attending in the US or internationally
- Must plan to be enrolled in the upcoming fall semester
NOTE: Not all applicants will receive a scholarship. Scholarships are a one-time award and you must be apply each year in order to be considered for another scholarship.
