G3 is dedicated to this innovative future and the G3 Grow Beyond Scholarship is our way of helping students like you recognize and reach your full potential in leading that change, wherever your career may take you.

In a short video, you’ll explain how you want to make a difference and what you plan to contribute in order to lead Canadian agriculture into an innovative and technologically advanced future. G3 Grow Beyond offers six $5,000 scholarships to high school students with a bright idea for the future of Canadian agriculture. Submit a video describing your vision for a chance to win!

Note: Only 125 submitted applications will be accepted for review. If 125 applications have been submitted prior to the application deadline, the portal will close regardless of the date.

Eligibility

You are eligible if you:

  • Are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Are in your final year of a Canadian high school and graduating in 2024
  • Are planning to start full-time studies in your first bachelor’s degree or diploma

Requirements

  • Create a 2-3 minute video describing your vision for the future of agriculture and how you plan to contribute.Please note: Video submissions longer than 3 minutes will not be accepted.
  • Log in, apply, and submit your video by April 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM EST
  • Submit all accompanying documents as outlined in the program guidelines. Post-secondary acceptance letters must be received by June 7, 2024.

Assessment

Recipients will be determined based on the following:

  • How well your video addresses the questions below. This will be judged by a panel of industry professionals. (65%)
    • What is your chosen field of study and why does it interest you?
    • What is one major challenge facing the world that you believe could be addressed through innovation in the field of agriculture?
    • Describe this innovation and how your studies can achieve it.
  • Community and/or school involvement. (20%)
  • Online public voting. A maximum of one video vote per IP address will be allowed for each of the five geographic regions designated on the website. (15%)
