Tips For Creating a Good Essay
Bisnar Chase will choose a winner who best demonstrates their personality, inspiration, and drive for education and personal growth. We want to empower future leaders by rewarding those with the dedication and determination to make a difference, big or small.
We reward originality in essay submissions. But if you need inspiration, you could touch on the points below:
- Your community, personal experiences, and inspirations.
- Your journey in education and beyond so far.
- Your future aspirations.
- Why do you deserve to win this scholarship?
The tips below might help students submit the best application they can:
- Stay on topic: This scholarship is not awarded to the person who completes the most hours of volunteer work. Mention your accomplishments or personal anecdotes only when relevant.
- Keep it readable and brief: Make sure your thoughts are easy to read and understand. Keep your answers as short as possible without sacrificing detail. There is a general word count guidance of 500 words, but great essays will not be punished for exceeding that total.
- Be specific: Don’t get lost in generalities. We want to know exactly why you deserve this scholarship and how you plan to make a difference.
- Show your personality: The best essays use personal experiences and inspirations to make their points. Show us who you are and why you deserve to win.
- Don’t send us an AI-generated template.
