We are excited to announce the 2025 Safety on the Road Scholarship, an opportunity for current high school seniors, college students, and graduate students passionate about improving road safety to share their ideas and make a difference.
According to NHTSA’s data, more than 40,000 fatalities occurred on the road in 2023, highlighting the urgent need for change in road safety. What changes would you make if you had the power to make a difference? Would you have more people take public transportation, move towards autonomous cars, or make sure everyone always wore their seat belts? We want to hear your ideas for improving road safety and the potential results of your proposed change.
To apply for the scholarship, you’ll need to submit an essay discussing your idea for improving road safety and the potential results of your proposed change.
The scholarship will be awarded based on the quality and originality of the essay, as well as the potential impact of the proposed change on road safety. The Lone Star Injury Attorneys team, who are passionate about road safety and dedicated to making a positive impact in our community, will review all submissions and select the recipient based on these criteria.
