American Muslim Women Physicians Association (AMWPA) is an organization of muslim women physicians, dentists and medical students. Muslim women physicians of Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (DFW) came together in 1999 and thought that there was a real need to help the community to empower women through improving their health, welfare and to bring muslim women doctors, dentists in communication with each other for encouragement and camaraderie.
Eligibility:
- Female Muslim
- Parents are not physicians (exception will be made if parents never practiced as physicians)
- Current or pre-medical or dental student at an accredited university or graduate school
- Attached transcript from university indicating Enrollment
- Minimum cumulative GPA 3.50 only required for pre-medical and pre-dental students.
- Copy of resume
- Need picture with application.
