At Maineri Law Firm, we believe in providing legal representation for people in need, and we understand the difficulties that families often face when they are affected by serious injuries. We also know the importance of education, and we want to provide support for students who are looking to better themselves, pursue career opportunities, and seek education that goes beyond a four-year undergraduate degree.

Through the Maineri Law Firm Higher Education Scholarship, we provide a $1,000 scholarship to an undergraduate student each semester. Students who plan to pursue graduate degrees in certain fields may apply for the scholarship, which may be used to pay tuition costs or other expenses related to a college education, such as books, supplies, or room and board. 

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

Undergraduate students may apply for our scholarship, which may be used to address educational expenses during their freshman, sophomore, or junior year. Our scholarship is available for those who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and who plan to pursue graduate degrees in one of the following fields:

  • History
  • Journalism
  • Political science
  • Communications
  • Education
  • Language
  • Literature
  • Psychology
  • Geology
  • Geography
  • Degrees related to the legal field
  • Environmentally-related degrees

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 as of the academic semester they completed most recently, they must be at least 17 years old at the time they submit their application, and they must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the United States.
