The North Dakota Space Grant provides scholarship funding for outstanding students at affiliate schools. Each NDSGC affiliate school identifies its qualified applicants and submits awardee information to the NDSGC. Scholarships are designed for students pursuing degrees that will build, sustain, and deploy a skilled, high-performing, and diverse workforce that meets the current and emerging needs of NASA, North Dakota, and the nation. Scholarships may be awarded in both the fall and spring semesters.
Funding: Up to $2,500 per scholarship
Eligibility
The student:
- must be enrolled at an NDSGC Affiliate College or University other than NDSU or UND
- must be a U.S. Citizen
- must be in good academic standing
- must be pursuing a STEM or STEM Education degree
Nursing majors are ineligible for NDSGC scholarships, per NASA rules and regulations.

How to Apply
In addition to one letter of recommendation from a faculty member, students must fill out and turn in the application form to the Office of Financial Aid at their respective institution. BSC students are to complete the online form below. If your school is not listed in the institution-specific instructions below, students are highly encouraged to contact their Financial Aid Office.
