As a Technology Student you are a key member of a highly respected, professional, DevOps team and will have an opportunity to work in one of the following possible areas: Cloud Infrastructure and/or DevOps.

- Automating infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Supporting cloud services and tools
- Driving agile delivery and innovation
Interns work in-office 3 days/week, participate in team-building and professional development, and contribute to real-world solutions that impact millions of Canadians. No prior DevOps experience required—just a passion to learn and grow in the field.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A current undergraduate student enrolled at a university or college in Canada and also;
- Continuing current studies or intend to be enrolled in a university or college in Canada in the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree or certification or another closely related technology program.
- Available to work in Winnipeg, Toronto or London.
- Maintaining a strong academic performance.
- Identify as having a visible or invisible disability (defined as someone who has, or considers themselves to have, a long-term, or recurring, issue that impacts one or more major activities that others may consider to be a daily function); this definition also includes the perception among others that a disability exists. We know that 90% of disabilities on campus are invisible, and candidates with all disabilities are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated leadership (formal or informal experience) and passion for technology
This scholarship is not open to current high school students.
Please note: Scholarship recipients must be enrolled as students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Enrollment will be verified after the winners are selected, and all scholarship payments will be made directly to the student to be used towards tuition and education-related expenses. We will withhold the award for any scholar who no longer meets the eligibility requirements and revoke the award for any scholar who does not maintain the eligibility requirements. Recipients may defer their award for up to one (1) year from the time of originally planned payment on a case-by-case basis as determined by Canada Life.

From there you will click to visit our online application system where you will provide:
- Contact, education, and experience information
- Current resume & unofficial transcripts
- One essay 1-2 pages: Answering the following questions:
1. What does Rebranding Disability through achievement mean to you?
2. Describe what impact your disability has had on your life?
3. Why are you interested in the Canada Life + Lime Connect DevOps & Technology Internship and Scholarship Award? What is your location preference (Winnipeg, London, or Toronto)?
4. What excites you about DevOps?
- One letter of recommendation from professors, advisers, or supervisors (due January 13th, 2026)
The Application Timeline:
- Applications are currently open and will close Tuesday, January 13th, 2026 at 11 PM ET.
- For those finalists selected, interviews will take place in early February.
- Selected candidates will be offered in mid/late February.
