Scholarships are available for individuals who are enrolled in health care aide, nursing, health leadership or allied health post-secondary studies between September 2025 and August 2026.
All scholarships are generously supported by Bethany Care Foundation donors.

Who can apply?
Scholarships are available for individuals who are enrolled in nursing, health care aide, health leadership or allied health post-secondary studies from September 2025 to August 2026.
Scholarship Amount
Scholarships of up to $3000 will be awarded to select applicants.
Eligibility
You are eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:
You are enrolled in post-secondary studies between September 2025 and August 2026 in one of the following fields:
- Nursing;
- Health care aide;
- Allied health; or
- Health leadership.
Required Documents
Your application must include:
- A copy of your most recent transcript;
- Two signed reference letters;
- Post-secondary acceptance letter (required for grade 12 students only); and
- Confirmation that you will attend the Awards Ceremony on September 17, 2025, from 3:00PM-5:00PM
Important: Recipients must attend the Awards Ceremony as a condition of receiving the scholarship.
Application Deadline
Submit your completed application by June 30, 2025.

Selection Process
- Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, clear career goals, and contributions to continuing care.
- Applications are reviewed by a selection committee, which includes Bethany Board members, leadership representatives, and members of the Bethany community.
Notification and Awarding of Scholarships
- Applicants will be notified of the selection committee’s decision in September 2025.
- Scholarship winners must attend the Awards Ceremony on September 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM 5:00 PM in Calgary, Alberta, where the awards will be presented.
Reapplying in Future Years
You may apply again in future years if you meet the eligibility criteria, but you must submit a new application with updated documents each time.
Photo and Video Policy
- Photos and videos will be taken at the Awards Ceremony and may be used for promotional materials, reports, and social media.

Tax Information
- Scholarships are taxable in the award year.
- Recipients must submit their social insurance number (SIN) to receive a T4A tax form, which will be issued for tax reporting purposes.
Please note: If you receive a scholarship and withdraw from your program before completing the academic year, you must return the award to Bethany.
