Sloane Stephens has always been passionate about giving back and uplifting her community. While competing at the highest levels of tennis—winning the 2017 US Open and reaching a career-high ranking of #3 in the world—she has remained deeply committed to philanthropy through the Sloane Stephens Foundation, which she founded in 2013 at just 20 years old. Her foundation provides underserved youth with greater access to education and sports, ensuring they have safe spaces to learn, grow, and thrive.
Since its launch, the foundation has impacted over 10,000 underserved young people nationwide, helping level the playing field for those who might not otherwise have access to these opportunities.
Sloane continues to make a difference through the Sloane Stephens Doc & Glo Scholarship, created in honor of her late grandparents, who were instrumental in shaping her life and firm believers in the power of education. Their legacy also lives on through Doc & Glo, Sloane’s newly launched body care brand. Inspired by Family, Crafted for Life in Motion, Doc & Glo was born from Sloane’s personal journey and the values instilled in her by her grandparents – resilience, kindness, and self-belief. In their honor, she created a brand that empowers everyone to take on each day with confidence and care.
Now in its fourth year, the 2025 Doc & Glo Scholarship will support six students in pursuing their education and chasing their dreams. High school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students with a 2.5 GPA or higher are encouraged to apply.
To apply, share your story in your own voice – your background, passions, aspirations, and the experiences that have shaped who you are today.
