The Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation’s purpose is to serve as a means of support for the Illinois Jaycees. The ILJCF provides a means of receiving tax deductible gifts for the Illinois Jaycees and their member chapters; provide grants to chapters and awards scholarships to Illinois high school students on behalf of the Illinois Jaycees.

The Illinois Jaycee Charitable foundation can support Jaycee affiliated organizations with a Special Project Sponsorship, offering matching funds or providing grants from one of our six funds.

The Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation offers two scholarships open to high school seniors residing in Illinois enrolling in their first year of full-time study at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational school.

Involvement & Leadership
The Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation Scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors and is based on involvement, leadership roles, honors and awards, employment, personal statement, financial statement, scholastic achievement, and references.
The number of $1,000 scholarships awarded annually will be determined by the amount of funds raised through ILJCF fundraisers and donations. Two recipients of the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation Scholarship Award will become the nominees from Illinois for the US JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Award.
To apply, download a college scholarship application or a vocational scholarship application. All applications must be postmarked no later than January 17th to be considered. Completed applications should be mailed to:

Roger D. Colbert Memorial Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors related to an Illinois Jaycee member or JCI Senator. It is based on involvement, leadership roles, honors and awards, Jaycee organization participation, employment, personal statements, financial statement, scholastic achievement, and a sponsor letter.
The number of $500 and $1,000 scholarships awarded annually will be determined by the amount of funds raised from fundraisers and through private donations from other foundations and individuals, and the number of eligible applications submitted.
This scholarship is named for Roger Colbert, a past Illinois Jaycee, JCI Senator, and member of the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation Board of Directors.
To apply, download the scholarship application. All applications must be postmarked no later than March 1st each year to be considered. Note: Applicants who have won an Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation Scholarship are not eligible for this award.
