The recipient of the grant is selected by the P-120 Student Organizations Committee. More than one scholarship may be awarded yearly if the pool of qualified nominees is sufficient. The committee reserves the right to not award the scholarship during a particular year. The recipient will be notified in early June. Publicity surrounding the scholarship winner will occur in a fall issue of Inside ASABE and by press release.

A student may apply to more than one scholarship, as long as all requirements are met. All essays must be original. Only one ASABE Foundation funded scholarship will be granted to any one student per academic year.

The Application Process

  1. Complete the entry form, which includes writing a brief essay stating why you have selected the design and development of new agricultural machinery products as the area of focus for your degree and the extent of your financial need.
