We know the cost of earning a post-secondary education can add up quickly for students. We are here to help by giving over $25,000 to students through our Prospera Education Grants program. This is our way of supporting new, returning, or mature students with their post-secondary journey for the fall 2025 semester.

This year, we’re offering:

Local Impact Grant ($5,000 grants available)

Two grants will be awarded to students who have demonstrated significant involvement in their communities, highlighting how this engagement shaped their personal growth and academic achievements.

Future Leaders Grant ($1,000 grants available)

Fifteen grants will be awarded to students with both clear career goals and plans to positively impact their communities post-education, emphasizing forward-thinking and societal impact.

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following:

  • Be an entering or returning student at an accredited post-secondary institution in Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley, or the Okanagan in September 2025.
  • Provide their acceptance letter from an accredited post-secondary institution (if the applicant is currently in high school or is a mature student).
  • Provide their transcript with a GPA of 3.0 or higher (if the applicant is a returning post-secondary student).
  • Submit a complete and accurate application form with the above documentation on our Do Some Good application form.
  • Family members of Prospera Credit Union employees are also eligible if they meet the above.

All applications will be accepted online through our partner’s website, Do Some Good. This online process will ensure we receive your application in the fastest and most secure way possible. To get started:
