The VSCPA Educational Foundation fuels the future of accounting by awarding over $80,000 annually in scholarships to talented students pursuing accounting degrees at Virginia colleges or universities and aspiring to become CPAs.

2026 VSCPA Educational Foundation Scholarships
The VSCPA Educational Foundation awards over $80,000 in scholarships each year to students pursuing accounting careers. Individual awards range from $2,500–$3,000 for the 2026–2027 academic year, including the Summer 2026 term, and are paid directly to recipients’ schools in June 2026 to cover tuition and fees.
Applicants complete one application and are automatically considered for all scholarships they are eligible for.
General Eligibility
(Required for all applicants)
To be considered for any VSCPA scholarship, applicants must:
- Have completed at least three accounting credit hours by Dec. 31, 2025.
- Hold a minimum 2.7 GPA.
- Be enrolled (or planning to enroll for Fall 2026) at a Virginia college or university with the intent to pursue a CPA license.
- Be a VSCPA student member (it’s free to join).
