The VSCPA Educational Foundation awards over $50,000 to students who have completed at least three credit hours in accounting. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply if they meet the eligibility requirements. See below for eligibility criteria and a full list of scholarships.
Applicants will be considered for all awards that they are eligible for based on their application. Scholarship awards range from $2,000 to $3,000 and are for the 2023-2024 academic year. Scholarships are paid to recipient's school in June for the upcoming academic year tuition and fees.
Scholarships are closed. The 2024 applications will open on January 1 and will be due April 1, 2024.
To be considered for any VSCPA scholarships all applicants must:
- Have earned at least three credit hours in accounting
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.7 or higher
- Be currently enrolled AND enrolled or intend to be enrolled in the Fall 2023 semester to an accredited Virginia college or university with the intent to pursue a CPA license.
- Be a student member of the Virginia Society of CPAs. Student membership is free and you can join online.
