Description
FICPA Foundation Scholarships are awarded to students majoring in accounting or a related field, who are pursuing a career as a CPA in Florida. These scholarships award up to $5,000.
- Full-time or part-time college student (as defined by your college/university).
- Majoring in Accounting or a related subject.
- Be an active member of the FICPA ( it is free for students - Join Here).
- Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least a 3.0 upper-level accounting GPA at the time of submission.
- Must be at least a rising Senior or Graduate student with at least one upper-division accounting course at the time of submission.
- Must be planning to sit for the CPA exam and be working towards fulfilling the requirements for certification in Florida.
- Must indicate a desire to work in Florida.
- Must be a citizen of the United States or hold permanent residency status.

The FICPA Scholarship Foundation has been supporting students aspiring to enter the accounting profession since 1959.
We are excited to continue making a meaningful impact on the future of Accounting and the CPA community!
In 2025, we awarded over 60 scholarships to some of the most talented and promising accounting students from 20 universities across the state of Florida.
Who is eligible to apply?
Eligible applicants will meet the following requirements:
- Full-time or part-time college student (as defined by your college/university)
- Majoring in Accounting or a related subject
- Attending any partnering college or university in the State of Florida with an accredited Accounting Program (you can find our partnering list HERE)
- Be an active member of the FICPA (it is free for students - Join online)
- Have at least a 3.0 Cumulative GPA and at least a 3.0 Upper-level Accounting GPA at the time of submission.
