Four awards worth $1,000, $500, and two for $300 will be awarded under the Ship Smart Scholarship. The scholarships will be sent direct to the school's, university's, or college's financial aid office.
Who is eligible?
Applicants must be current, full-time or part-time students of an accredited, non-accredited institute, truck driving school or other logistics program. They must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to become eligible. There is no age requirement.
How do I apply?
To apply for the scholarship write a 500 word original essay or article about packing or shipping, that may not have been posted anywhere on the internet. You may read about some of our services for ideas:

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. To enter email your article, your name, your school, your school address, and what year you are to scholarships@shipsmart.com.
If you don not receive a confirmation email please check your spam or junk folder or if in gmail your different tabs. You may email us at the address below for help. Key dates: November 6, 2020 is the last date to submit your application for the program.
How is the winner decided?
Your essay or article will be posted to our website with recognition going to the author and will be linked from this page. The winning articles or essays will be selected by the Ship Smart Scholarship committee and a announcment of the winner will be posted on our website on November 13, 2020. The winners will also be notified via email.

After you submit, it is recommended you inform your family and friends about this scholarship and share the link to your essay with them on your social media.
