AWSN is now accepting funding applications for 2025 from programs that align with our mission to support women, girls, and underrepresented groups in the STEM community.
In 2024, we distributed over $30,000 in funding, supporting a wide range of initiatives, from high school robotics teams and undergraduate students competing internationally, to covering speaker costs for events that reached diverse age groups and STEM fields across Alberta. The application portal will be open till August 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM MDT. Please note that the portal will close at this time and no extensions will be granted.
To apply, please complete the form linked below and attach your responses to the application questions before the deadline. Funding decisions will be finalized by the end of August. All applicants will be notified by early September, with funds distributed by the end of October.
Please note that AWSN is unable to provide funding for for-profit activities, food costs, or volunteer recognition.
