Sacramento's Community Service Scholarship

Active 20-30 International provides young adults an opportunity for personal growth, friendships, and leadership development while improving the quality of life for the special needs of children in our community. Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento #1032 consists of women ages 20 - 39 from the Greater Sacramento area who volunteer their time to help children in the local area through fundraising and hands-on events.

As part of that mission, we are pleased to announce our Community Service Scholarship program to recognize high school senior women who have excelled academically and are involved in community service. At least five scholarships will be awarded in 2020; ranging from $500 to $1,000 scholarships.


A) Senior female with 3.0 GPA or higher

B) Community Service/Volunteer experience

C) Plan to attend a community college or four year university

D) Must reside or attend school in Sacramento County or the cities of Granite Bay, Lincoln, Rocklin, Roseville, Davis, or West Sacramento

Applicants must fill out the attached application. In addition, applicants must submit a copy of their high school transcript, one letter of recommendation, and two essays with requirements (double space, Time New Roman font, 12-point size). that are no longer than 500 words each (double spaced). Applications must be emailed by 11:59 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2020, to Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento #1032. The letter of recommendation can be emailed directly from the applicant's sponsor to the email below, with the applicant's name in the subject line. Late or incomplete applications, or applications not meeting the minimum qualifications above, will not be considered. Applicants can expect a response no later than mid-April 2020.
