Idaho AGC Education Foundation Construction Scholarship
The Idaho AGC Education Foundation provides up to four $1,500 awards each year to full-time students in their junior or senior year of study at an Idaho college or university and who have declared a construction related major. While each award is for a single academic year, students who receive the award as a sophomore may apply again during their senior year.
Eligibility
To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet all of the following criteria:
A) Be a legal resident of the United States of America
B) Be enrolled as a full-time student at an Idaho college or university
C) Have accumulated enough college credit to have been designated either a junior, sophomore or senior in the coming academic year
D) Have declared a construction related major
E) Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
F) Complete the application no later than May 1
G) Write a 500-word personal essay about their goals and interests
H) Submit at least one letter of recommendation
Application Process
The application deadline is 4:00pm MST on May 1. In order for an application to be considered complete it must include the required personal essay, proof of GPA, and letter(s) of recommendation. Late applications will not be considered.
