The ACMPE Scholarship Fund Inc. (SFI) is a program that supports individuals who, by virtue of experience, current position and future career plans, demonstrate potential to contribute to MGMA's mission of transforming healthcare.

The 2024 application process begins on February 20th and closes on April 29th. Funds will be awarded to recipients in early August 2024. Applications are now open! Find the button to apply in the Scholarship Application Requirements section.

2024 Scholarship recipients will be publically announced in the fall of 2024.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

  • Member of MGMA.
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management, including public health, business administration, healthcare administration and other related areas.
  • The university must be located within the United States.
  • Scholarships are not intended to support individuals pursuing degrees in medicine, physical therapy, nursing or other clinically related professions.
  • Additional eligibility requirements may exist for each award.

Scholarship Application Requirements

Please note: there is one application form to apply for all scholarships (except for those noted above). Each applicant will be considered for all scholarships based on eligibility.

  • Proof of academic enrollment
  • Professional resume
  • Unofficial Academic Transcript
  • 500 words or less essay on how you plan to contribute to medical practice management
  • Two letters of recommendation - may be included and/or sent separately
