The 2025 Tailhook Educational Foundation Scholarship Applications will be open from
1200 NOON PT on Monday, 16 December 2024 through Monday, 1200 NOON PT 17 February 2025
Eligibility
High school graduate and child or grandchild of a current or former Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, or Air-crewman.
- Or -
Children/grandchildren of individuals who served onboard a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier.
- And -
Accepted for undergraduate enrollment at an accredited college.
Applications open and are available at 1200 NOON PT on Monday, 15 December 2025 through Monday, 1200 NOON PT 16 February 2026

TEF awards over 100 scholarships annually averaging more than $4,600 per grant with our top grant awarded at $20,000 per year. A number of our TEF grants are awarded to students pursuing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) curriculum. All TEF grants assist Naval Aviation legacy undergraduate students obtain a higher education.
TEF scholarships are only made possible by the continued generosity of our individual and organizational donors.

In 2025, TEF 150 of Naval Aviation legacy’s best and brightest students earned scholarships.
Four of these scholarships were awarded to Gold Star students who lost their parent-sponsor while they were still serving on active duty.
Four of these scholarship were earned by former or current Naval Aviation Enlisted college students.
