We are thrilled to announce $13,000 in scholarships available to six outstanding applicants. Whether you’re rolling into college after a year or less off, or looking to pursue trade school, this scholarship can help you achieve your dreams.
If you're connected to RSA member rinks or RSM member affiliates as a family member or employee, you're also eligible to apply! Use the scholarship funds to support your athletic pursuits or to cover tuition and other educational expenses.

When submitting your application, please pay close attention to all required documents when submitting. Each applicant must have the three requested letters of recommendation, transcripts, test scores (where applicable), essay, and application. If your application is missing any of the required items, you may be disqualified.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
A $5000 first place academic scholarship, a $3000 second place academic scholarship and a $2000 third place academic scholarship will be awarded to high school seniors or individuals who are no more than one year out of high school who:
1. Can be certified to be a family member, employee, or employee’s family member of any card carrying RSA member.
2. Completes and timely submits the scholarship application form in its entirety.
3. Must have at least a 3.2 grade point average on an unadjusted 4.0 scale.
4. ACT/SAT scores must be submitted with the scholarship application and will be taken into consideration when considering potential scholarship awards.
5. Demonstrates excellence in all areas they choose to engage; academics, work, volunteering, athletics, community, civic, and faith-based organizations, etc.
6. Must have three (3) letters of reference, one from each of the following: RSA member; current or former guidance counselor; current or former teacher.
7. Must include complete high school transcripts.
8. Must include a 500- to 700-word personal essay explaining how roller skating has influenced your life, your goals for the future, and how this scholarship would help you achieve those goals.
OTHER INFORMATION
1. Application should be submitted for the fall semester to any college, university, or trade school.
2. Applicants must meet the criteria to be considered for this scholarship.
3. Completed applications must be received at the Roller Skating Foundation by March 31, 2026.
4. Application must be submitted the year in which you plan to attend college.
Award will be announced on or before May 1, 2026. Winners will be posted on www.rollerskating.com/scholarships.
