Sinclair School of Nursing Scholarships
The Sinclair School of Nursing offers a number of internal nursing-specific scholarships (see the full list below). These awards are made possible through direct giving to the Sinclair School of Nursing by alumni and friends.
Eligibility
Scholarships are available for undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students. Students in the Traditional BSN program must be accepted to or enrolled in the clinical nursing major to be eligible for these awards.
FAFSA
To be eligible for scholarships that require proof of financial need, students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA at their earliest convenience. The FAFSA opens on October 1.
January 1 is Mizzou's priority deadline for completing the FAFSA. Submitting the FAFSA well ahead of the scholarship application deadline improves your chances of receiving a scholarship.
*International students should not complete the FAFSA, as this can cause problems or delays in the scholarship application process.
How to Apply
During the spring semester, students can log on to ScholarshipUniverse and answer matching questions to find the scholarships for which they qualify. Students can complete applications for each of those awards. For more information, see MU Financial Aid's instructions for using ScholarshipUniverse.
If you experience issues with ScholarshipUniverse, please contact MU Student Financial Aid at 573-882-7506 or MizzouSFA@missouri.edu.
Deadlines
Applications open February 1 each year and are due June 15. Students are encouraged to complete their scholarship applications and FAFSA as early as possible.
