The Nevada State Education Association (NSEA), in partnership with elected leaders and community members, is pleased to offer scholarships in the amount of $5,000 to those applicants who are selected. The NSEA supports students pursuing a degree in education and highly encourages these students to apply. However, NSEA supports all education, so the application process is not limited to education students.
To apply for NSEA’s “Reach for the Stars” scholarship, candidates must be a graduating senior or must have previously graduated from a Nevada public high school, or must be a current Nevada public school employee. Candidates must be enrolled or enrolling in a Nevada accredited community college, 4-year university, or career technology institution.
NSEA is excited to reach out to our state in a positive effort to increase the skills and talents of our present and future workforce. The $5,000 scholarships will be awarded in April at NSEA's annual Delegate Assembly. The completed applications must be sent to NSEA, ATTN: Scholarship Committee, 3511 E.
