The Dennis G. Glore Memorial Scholarship Fund for Hospitality students was established at the St. Louis Community Foundation by the Greater St. Louis Foodservice Industry Council (GSLFIC) in 1996 to honor the memory of Dennis G. Glore, an independent foodservice designer and consultant, for the purpose of providing scholarships to needy, academically promising students attending an approved Hospitality Studies or Culinary Arts Program in the St. Louis area.
The amount of this scholarship varies from year to year but will be no less than $1000. This award is non-renewable, however past recipients are encouraged to reapply.
Eligibility: Students must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an eligible culinary arts or hospitality service program. Students pursuing a degree or certificate are eligible to apply.

Selection:
Applications will be evaluated on:
A) Quality of essay about student’s goals in this field
B) Strength of recommendation
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please answer all questions that apply to you, even if they are not marked “required.”
Notification
Application status will be changed from submitted to either awarded or denied in June. Applicants can view their status by logging in to their Scholarship Central account.
