Canada ADHD Scholarship

The Shire Canada ADHD Scholarship Program supports people diagnosed with ADHD who are pursuing higher education.

This Scholarship is open to individuals who are:

A) Legal residents of Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario, or Quebec;

B) Accepted to or enrolled in a post-secondary program at a Canadian accredited two-year to four-year college, university, trade school, technical school, or vocational school located in Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario, or Quebec; Of the age of majority in their province of residence; and

C) Diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and under the care of a licensed health care professional for ADHD.

D) Void where prohibited by law. Contest is subject to all federal, provincial, and local laws.

Shire Pharma Canada ULC (the "Scholarship Sponsor") is sponsoring five (5) Provincial Scholarships (as defined below) and one (1) Employee Scholarship (as defined below).

There is one (1) Provincial Scholarship available only to residents in each of the following respective provinces: Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Québec, who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (“ADHD”) and who have been accepted to or enrolled in a Qualifying Institution (as defined below) for the academic year 2016-2017.

The Employee Scholarship is available only to those diagnosed with ADHD who are residing in the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec, and who are employees of the Scholarship Sponsor, their immediate family members (defined as parents, children, or siblings), or persons who live with an employee of the Scholarship Sponsor.

For both the Provincial Scholarships and Employee Scholarship, enrollment to the Scholarship Program begins on December 4, 2015, at 11:00 AM ET, and ends on April 22, 2016 at 8:00 PM ET ("Program Period"). ELECTRONIC applications must be submitted by April 22, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. All Applications (as defined below) are subject to the below Rules and Regulations.
