Kansas Horse Council Academic Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students who;
A) Are current members of the KHC (either Individual Membership, Student Membership, or Family Membership that includes them).
B) Have a history in the equine industry (4H, Kansas High School Rodeo, FFA, etc.)
C) Can list scholastic accomplishments and community service.
D) Can provide 2 or more letters of recommendation.
E) Possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, if currently enrolled. An official transcript must be submitted with the application.
F) Proof of enrollment or acceptance into a trade or other accredited scholastic institution will be required if your are selected as a scholarship recipient.
The scholarship selection places emphasis on involvement in the horse industry in Kansas; Scholastic Achievement; and Community Service.
