Education Sector Scholarships


Scholarship Value: $1,000
Awards Available: 5

Each year the Education Sector offers two $500.00 scholarships for members and three $1,000.00 scholarships for members' dependents. These scholarships are open to SGEU Education Sector members or SGEU Education Sector member's dependent accepted into any post-secondary program at any approved public institution in Saskatchewan for programs starting between July 1 and June 30.

Applicants whose field of study is not available or is over-subscribed in Saskatchewan may be considered for the scholarship.

The five scholarships are awarded based on the following:

1. SGEU members (2)
2. Sequential (1)
3. VOC & PS (1)
4. University (1)

If any of the scholarships are not awarded, they may be allocated to another group.
