The Dr. Joseph Bomi Program consists of one scholarship which will be awarded to the one applicant that, in addition to meeting the eligibility criteria, writes the most compelling essay based on the essay guidelines. The quarterly scholarship will have a total monetary value of $1,500 USD.
The Dr. Joseph Bomi Scholarship will be offered in the winter, spring, summer and fall for a total amount of $1,500 USD – awarded once each quarter.
The deadline for submissions:
A) Winter Scholarship deadline is January 31st, 2021.
B) Spring Scholarship deadline is April 25th, 2021.
C) Summer Scholarship deadline is July 31st, 2021.
D) Fall Scholarship deadline is November 28th, 2021
If we receive less than 5 qualified applications by the posted deadline, we reserve the right to save those applications on file and combine them with the pool of applicants in the upcoming semester. In this case, a winner will be picked from the pool of (>5) applicants and will be notified in the upcoming semester.
To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in their first year of study in a medical/healthcare program at an accredited college or university. Applicants from all over the world are eligible to apply. Applicants must submit proof of acceptance or enrollment. Failure to provide adequate documentation will result in disqualification.
Only successful applicants of the Dr. Bomi Joseph Scholarship Program will be contacted. The scholarship payment will be made directly to the student to be used toward tuition and education-related expenses.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
For a chance to win one scholarship of $1,500 USD, applicants must be:
A) A First Year Student at a Post-Secondary Institution
B) Pursuing a Healthcare or Medical Degree
C) At least 18 years of age (on the day you submit your application).
