Getting into college can be one of the most exciting times in a person's life. All too often that excitement is hindered by the financial burdens of tuition and costs associated with higher education. Connecticut Trial Firm is proud to extend a scholarship to a deserving student who is the first in their immediate family to go to college. Both Andrew Garza and Ryan McKeen, Partners of the firm, were the first in their families to attend a four-year college. It is important to the firm to support and encourage students who find themselves in the same position.
Our firm is proud to provide a $1,000 scholarship to a U.S. college student who produces the best essay on how our local and national governments can do more for the public education system. In a 750-word essay in 12-point Times New Roman font please give a thorough answer to the following question: As a first-generation college student, what ways do you think the public education system can be improved so that more people have the chance to attend college?
