SE4A Scholarships
The Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging (SE4A) Scholarship will provide financial assistance to students pursuing a career in the fields of Gerontology or Geriatrics.
A) SE4A will award three $1,000 scholarships.
B) To be eligible, an applicant must be a junior, senior, or graduate student who is presently enrolled in an accredited university located within the nine southeastern states: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia.
C) Award recipients will be selected based on the following criteria:
1) Financial Need
2) Writing Skills
3) Education and Grade Point Average
4) Volunteer Work with Elderly
5) Connection to the Southeastern Area Agencies on Aging Network
