Scholarship assistance through The Ray Charles Foundation will help African-American students with high academic promise to defray their significant financial need.

For the 2018-2019 academic school year (5) scholarship awards of up to $4,500 will be made to students who meet the following eligibility criteria, and will be renewable up to one-year provided these criteria are maintained:

A) Students must be an African-American;

B) College junior enrolled full-time at a UNCF member institution;

C) Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; and

D) Students must have a demonstrated unmet financial need (per your college or university Office of Financial Aid)
