The Missouri Chapter Technology Scholarship is awarded to a senior or graduate of a Missouri high school located within the geographic boundary of the Missouri Chapter, who plans to enter a technical school in a program leading to a career in Public Works, including the fields of construction technology, surveying, heavy equipment operation, parks, grounds, and building maintenance, fleet maintenance or related fields. This $1,500 scholarship may be used at any accredited technical school or technical college.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
A) Enroll in an accredited technical school or college in a field leading to a career in Public Works.
B) Be a citizen of the United States or legal immigrant with appropriate valid documentation at the time of application.
C) Currently have permanent residence in the geographic boundary of the Missouri Chapter.
D) Have not previously been awarded the same APWA Missouri Chapter or Branch scholarship being applied for.
Submit the following:
1. Completed APWA Scholarship Application
2. One Letter of Reference from an Active Missouri APWA Chapter Member or a Personal Mentor (non-family member: Teacher, Employer, Pastor, Etc.). Up to One Additional Letter of Reference will be accepted. Letters from APWA members given additional weight.
3. Official Copy of High School Transcript
