A $2,000 scholarship awarded to applicants who can confirm their enrollment in an accredited technical industrial certification, associates, or skilled trades/vocational school program.
Eligibility
- Must be able to confirm you have or will obtain your high school diploma or equivalent on or before July 1st of the year in which the scholarship will be used.
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or greater or Canadian equivalent of 70-72% or greater.
- Must confirm enrollment in or entering a certification, associates (A.A.A.S.), or skilled trade/vocational program that will support a manufacturing career in one of the following areas: Carpentry, CNC Machining/Programming, Electrical, Electronics Technology, Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning [HVAC] Technician, Industrial Maintenance, Machinist, Machine Repair, Manufacturing Technology, Model Maker, Plumbing, Tool and Die, Welding, etc.
- Associate degree refers to programs that prepare students to enter the workforce for a career that does not necessarily require a bachelor’s degree. Students pursuing an associate degree who plan to continue their studies to complete a bachelor’s degree are not eligible.
- A previous Haworth Scholarship recipient for this category is not eligible for a second time.
