The Quell Foundation Bridge the Gap Scholarship is a renewable, merit-based award. Awards will be made to those students who demonstrate a high level of scholarship and/or a history of employment and training that reflects a commitment to work.
To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
A) Student must be pursuing a degree in the mental health care field which leads to licensure to treat clients.
B) Student must be accepted into an accredited College or University.
C) Student must be matriculated and maintain at least part-time enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate program.
D) Student must obtain a passing grade in all classes.
E) Student must have a minimum GPA of 3.7.
F) Award must be applied to degree granting institution within academic year '22-'23.
G) Student will be encouraged to help facilitate showing of the Foundation's Lift the Mask documentary on their college campus and participate in community awareness events/activities.
H) Award recipient must adhere to all behavioral, professional and ethical guidelines set forth by the educational institution.
I) Award recipient must demonstrate an understanding and commitment to The Quell Foundation's Mission.
J) Following award notification, recipients are required to submit a headshot and/or 30 second thank you video clip, prior to award disbursement, which the foundation will share with our generous donors.
