The Indiana (PA) Branch of the American Association of University Women announces scholarship awards for the next Academic Year. These scholarships are offered in partnership with the Women's and Gender Studies program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the Women's Studies program at Saint Francis University. Both universities are AAUW Collegiate Institutional members. All applicants must be AAUW Collegiate Members. Additional eligibility criteria are listed below the description of each scholarship.
1. IUP or SFU Non-traditional Student
A $500 scholarship award for an IUP or SFU Undergraduate or Graduate Woman Student with a residential address in Indiana County (PA) or on-campus who has earned at least 30 undergraduate or 6 graduate credits, and considers herself to be a non-traditional student (defined as women who have delayed enrollment or have challenges in their academic progress because of family, dependents, economic or other extenuating circumstances).
2. IUP or SFU Women's Studies Student
A $500 scholarship award for an IUP or SFU Undergraduate Woman Student with a residential address in Indiana County (PA) or on-campus who has earned at least 30 undergraduate credits, and is pursuing a Women's Studies Major or Minor.
