In 2017, the Harrisburg branch of the American Association of University Women will award three scholarships: the Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarship, the Martha M. Dohner Memorial Scholarship, and the Mary Lou McDowell Memorial Scholarship. Scholarship recipients may attend any accredited college or university in Pennsylvania but must be a resident of Dauphin or Cumberland County; the Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarship is also open to residents of Perry County. Eligibility, financial need and academic achievement must be demonstrated. An essay and references are also part of the application package.
