1) TAGGED FOR GREATNESS SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be an incoming freshman at a 4-year college or university; possess academic and leadership excellence and be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for the past two consecutive years.

2) HIGH SCHOOL ATTENDING 2-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be a high school senior planning to enroll at a 2-year college; exhibit academic and leadership excellence and be a current member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for the past two consecutive years.

3) TWO-YEAR ATTENDING FOUR-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be a junior college sophomore who will enroll at a 4-year college or university; possess academic and leadership excellence and be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for the past two consecutive years.

4) OUTSTANDING JUNIOR CATTLEMAN SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be a high school senior planning to enroll at a 2- or 4-year school; be a member of the Alabama Junior Cattlemen's Association, involved in junior cattlemen/youth livestock activities; and be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members for the past two consecutive years.

5) COLLEGIATE EQUESTRIAN/RODEO TEAM SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be a competing member of a recognized equestrian/rodeo team at an Alabama college; exhibit academic and leadership excellence; and be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members for the past two consecutive years.

6) AUBURN COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be currently enrolled in Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Preference given to a student who has a strong background in Alabama's livestock industry and intends to practice large animal medicine.

7) AUBURN UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL SCIENCE GRADUATE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be currently enrolled as a graduate student in Auburn University's Department of Animal Science. Preference given to a student who has a strong background in Alabama's livestock industry and is working on a research project focused on beef or beef cattle.

8) MARTHA DAVIS SERVICE AWARD

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be a high school senior; exhibit oustanding leadership and community or volunteer service involvement and be a current member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for the past two consecutive years.

9) TRADE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

This scholarship is available to students from Alabama who are accepted or currently enrolled in a trade school program in the state of Alabama. Applicants must be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for the past two consecutive years. Preference will be given to students seeking careers in the agricultural industry.

10) INA E. POWELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be an outstanding female high school senior; have at least a 3.0 GPA; enrolled at Auburn University with plans to graduate from the College of Agriculture, College of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences, College of Human Sciences or College of Education; possess academic and leadership excellence; be involved in the cattle industry; and be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members for the past two consecutive years.

11) CECIL LANE FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be from Alabama; be an incoming freshman in Auburn University's College of Agriculture; have cattle industry involvement and leadership excellence; and be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or have a parent/grandparent who has been a member for at least 2 consecutive years.

12) ED WADSWORTH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be a junior or senior animal science major at Auburn University; have at least a 3 .0 GPA;exhibit leadership skills; submit 750-word essay on past involvement and future career in the livestock industry and be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members for the past two consecutive years.

13) MAY AND NED ELLIS FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Student is from Alabama. Parents or grandparents are current members in good standing of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for two consecutive years. An upcoming junior or transferring junior into the College of Agriculture at Auburn University. Must have a 2.5 grade point average.Scholarship may be awarded to the same student for a 2nd year if a 2.5 grade point average is maintained and the student remains in the College of Agriculture. Student has a good academic and leadership record and involved in extracurricular activities in their major. Preference will be given for financial need.

14) SAMUEL UPCHURCH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be an incoming freshman at Auburn University; be accepted in the animal science or agriculture economics program; demonstrate academic excellence; and be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or parents/grandparents of the applicant must be current members for the past two consecutive years. Preference given to a student whose parents are members of the Alabama Santa Gertrudis Association.

15) JOHN WILLIAMS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

Student is from Alabama and parents or grandparents are current members in good standing of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for the last two consecutive years. Student plans to enter into an agriculture degree at a four year university and pursue a career in the beef cattle industry. Individual has a good academic and leadership record and involved in extracurricular activities. Preference will be given for those that plan to attend auctioneering school.
