Delaware Equine Council Foundation Scholarship
Each year, the Foundation, supported by the Delaware Equine Council, awards scholarships to a few high-achieving students, pursuing their education in fields that will enhance the equine or agricultural industry.
Tax-deductible donations are raised throughout the year from our many sponsors. Essays are solicited from scholarship candidates in the fall and winter. The foundation board selects the recipients and awards the scholarships at the annual banquet in March.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
A) U.S. citizen, or a legal resident alien
B) Delaware resident or Delaware Equine Council member
C) Enrolled in good standing at an agricultural or equine course of study or related field, or a veterinary or vet tech program in the United States
D) Completed, or are about to complete, one full semester of study
Be Bold Scholarship
The $25,000 "Be Bold" Scholarship is a no-essay scholarship that will be awarded to the applicant with the boldest profile. It takes less than 2 minutes to apply.
