The San Angelo Stock Show Foundation Scholarship fund will make available $1,000 renewable scholarships to qualifying high school seniors. The Scholarships may be used to attend a Texas vocational/technical school or accredited Texas college or university. Applicants must be 4-H, FFA or FHA members. Applicants do not have to pursue a career in agricultural or related fields.
A) Member of 4-H, FFA or FHA
B) Resident of Texas
C) Must be or have been a participant of San Angelo Stock Show
D) Satisfactorily complete the requirements for a high school diploma in the spring of the current year OR for renewal recipients satisfactorily completed the previous semester(s) of college with an overall grade point average of 2.5
E) Be accepted to a Texas vocational/technical school or accredited Texas college or university OR for renewal recipients, be enrolled in a Texas vocational/technical school or accredited Texas college or university.
F) Enroll for a minimum of 12 hours.
G) Meet the minimum requirements for the educational institution of their choice if graduating from high school this year.
H) Renewal applicants must submit fall grades by January 15th to receive funding for the spring semester and July 15th to receive funding for the fall semester. Reports received after these dates will result in loss of funding for the semester.
I) Applicant must have taken either the ACT or SAT to be eligible.
J) Scholarships must be claimed within one year of high school graduation or the scholarship will be forfeited.
